Camera & lighting
Webcam or DSLR? Logitech C920+ or C922 are affordable (HD 1080p). Lighting: ring lights ($30-100) are standard; position 45° above and in front of camera for flattering angles. Avoid harsh shadows. Natural lighting works if positioned right.
Audio setup
Lavalier or USB microphone better than laptop mic. Blue Yeti, Audio-Technica AT2020 USB, or Samson Q2U are popular budget options ($50-150). Clear audio matters more than video — viewers will forgive lower resolution, not poor audio.
Streaming bitrate & quality
